Undesirable Detour

I tried to incorporate both themes for this Jam.

For theme 1, I tried to work with one instrument per day/session. This was extremely difficult, as it was hard to hold a vision for the whole track without being able to hear all instruments at the same time. I started with the snare, then kick, some fx, piano, etc. At some point it turned out to be impossible not to edit the previous instruments, do near the end I did some of that. I tried not to change the notes so much, but the arrangement needed some improvement.

For theme 2, I tried to work on the contrast between nature and city, with the train taking a detour from the joyride in the nature and ending up in more chaotic environments, such as the city. I found the contrast in the usage of sampled instruments and synths, each one dominating one part of the song, and sometimes interacting with each other. The environmental fx provide the setting in which all of this is happening.
